In this two-part series, Penn Rail Videos will take you into the more remote parts of the NS Pittsburgh Line from Altoona to South Fork.
In part two, we will resume our tour at Gallitzin before continuing west. We'll then work our way west viewing various trains at these locations at various times throughout the day.
Locations are shown in order geographically, so don't be alarmed when one clip is from the early AM and the next is from the late afternoon. With extensive subtitling, you'll know where we're at and what the milepost (MP) number is. We'll end our video in South Fork, where many of the coal trains for this line originate.
This is the ultimate set of videos on Youtube that cover this many trains in this amount of time, and really brings to life mountain railroading in the 21st century.
