 Recordings of two steam - Tractors (Locomobile), the means of dragging a rope Kipppflug over the field. It was plowed at the beginning of the last century.
At each end of the field is a steam engine, and the plow is pulled by a cable back and forth. A costly thing, but compared to plow with horses, a quantum leap.

"Istanbul" Steamers Engine Room

1961 nine passenger steamers was built at Fairfield, Glasgow, for the Bosphorus. 2003 four was remaining: s/s Inkilap, s/s Kanlica, s/s Tegmen Ali Ihsan Kalmaz and s/s Turan Emeksiz. Two 800 hp twincompound steam engines. They were all taken out of service 2005. Recorded 8th Sep 2003

"Norrskär"

S/S Norrskär, built 1910. 450 hp compound steam engine with Flodman reversing link motion. S/S Norrskär operates in the public transport system in the Stockholm archipelago. In this film she departs from Stockholm and makes a short stop at Halleberg (one of several stops) on her journey to Gällnö. Recorded 2010.

Steam Engines in Action (Tonnenleger BUSSARD)

Die Maschine des Tonnenlegers BUSSARD in Aktion, Laufzeit ca. 7 min. Gezeigt werden verschiedene Maschinenmanöver, Umsteuern vor /zurück und fast alle Fahrstufen. Die Kamera war bei vielen Aufnahmen direkt in der laufenden Maschine.

Der Film ist ein Ausschnitt von der DVD "Stationärmotorentreffen Burkhardtsdorf 2011".
Beim traditionsreichen Stationärmotorentreffen der Bulldogfreunde Erzgebirge gibt es immer das über einhundert Jahre alte Locomobil zu sehen, das unterschiedliche Maschinen antreibt.
2011 wurde per Riemen ein Generator angetrieben, mit dem erzeugten Strom dann eine alte Säge.
