Inside North Korea by an American Tourist (TRAIN PORTION)

Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 .
Train travel from China to Cult Korea: Beijing-Pyongyang. May 2010. See Videos 2, 3 and 4 for the walking tour of the DPRK. This was a propaganda tour that brings tourists to the country's showcase cities and most fertile regions. These videos will give people who are thinking about visiting North Korea an overview of what they will likely see there (A variety of tours are offered but in general the itineraries are similar). These videos are not truncated or narrated and are often boring. This footage is not representative of most of N. Korea. Read interviews and look for footage by aid agencies and hidden videos smuggled out to see how the majority of N. Koreans live, with oppression, famine, lack of human rights and medical care, or the most unfortunate 200,000 political victims living in Gulag/Concentration camps. Unfortunately you'll likely have many more years to plan a trip to N. Korea, as S. Korea, China and the USA are all content with N. Korea's existence and continue subsidizing the regime with money and food aid. S. Korea's disturbing indifference and passivity to the atrocities occurring in the North makes the entire peninsula complicit in the crimes. S. Korea has many military and non-military options if it wanted the Northern regime to collapse. However S.Korea is content with maintaining two separate countries because they don't want to be burdened with the financial costs of rebuilding the North and rehabilitating a mentally and physically stunted, emotionally damaged and uneducated population. The S.Korean government brain washes its population to ignore the N.Korean human rights abuses and lies that the North has the military capacity that would devastate the South if a confirmation were to escalate. N.Korea's very few nuclear bombs are primitive and not miniaturized as warheads- even if they did have reliable missiles, which they don't. Their only real threat is artillery which can be destroyed with overwhelming firepower from the South. Nowhere else in the world do you see a country with 50 times greater GDP cower to a bankrupt, starving nation with antique armaments. N.Korean refugees are not warmly received in S.Korean society, the S.Korean government does almost nothing to voice its opposition to China's forced repatriation of N.Korean refugees- who's population in China is estimated at 500,000. Priority warped S. Korea prohibits pornography yet tolerates that N. Korean refugees are rampantly trafficked into sexual slavery and forced marriages in China. The S.Koreans tolerate that N.Korean men, women and children face extreme punishment, labor camp imprisonment, torture and execution if sent back from China. If S.Korea does so little to help and protect those Koreans who have already escaped, then S.Korea will unlikely fight for reunification. Therefore it's likely N.Korea will need to suffer much longer until it slowly improves, reforms and rebuilds itself as a puppet state of China, with Chinese control of the N.Korean politics, land, ports and minerals. After the Chinese Communist party collapses, the N.Korean leadership will then be cut off from their last ally and their country can then finally be allowed to fall apart to rebuild again. This continued long and painful future for the N. Koreans is due to S. Korea's political inaction, military adolescence, cultural tolerance of brutality, and lack of unity and sense of priority among its people and government. The world needs to learn and understand that the cowardly S.Korweaken government and its self absorbed & timid citizens will only focus on wealth generation, social status and K-Pop. S.Korea, the world's 11th largest economy, will continue ignoring that 1/3 of the Korean race is hungry, enslaved and desperate. This is why it's so important to help support NGO's that assist Korean refugees and call to attention the plight of these abandoned, tortured people.
